Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand and guide financial institution (FI) security strategies across throughout the organization.
- Deliver on success plans to ensure ongoing client retention.
- Expand on successful client partnerships by identifying and closing additional product opportunities.
- Lead contract renewal negotiations for assigned clients.
- Leverage effective sales methodologies and tools to forecast and build a strong lead pipeline, targeting 3.5x coverage against assigned goals.
- Deepen relationships with client base, developing executive contacts across the organization.
- Plan and lead quarterly reviews as well as other customer meetings to ensure ongoing alignment and value realization for all customers.
- Represent DefenseStorm at client events and user group sessions, as needed or assigned.
- Provide input to Product Management on recommended enhancements based on client feedback.
- Forecast accurately and keep all activity and opportunity records current and accurate in CRM.
- Consistently meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years’ experience in customer success or account management.
- 2+ year in the security or fintech industries strongly preferred.
- A strong desire to help and serve our customers: they win, so you win!
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and perfect your work; you love to collaborate and innovate.
- Track record of successfully meeting and exceeding direct revenue targets is a must!
- Successful track record of in-person and virtual customer interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate and sell complex enterprise software solutions.
- Highly motivated self-starter who is versed in solution selling mythologies, exhibits a natural curiosity and a consistent drive for self-improvement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable in start-up and early-stage environments.
